An intensive and in-depth workshop composed of highly interactive sessions complemented by exercises, role-plays and brain-storming sessions that give participants a chance to test new tools and design their own customised approach for working successfully across cultures

Understanding the principles of culture
This section develops a basic cultural awareness and highlights the impact that cultural similarities and differences may have on people’s behaviour across cultures
- The tangible and intangible elements of cultures affecting behaviour; identifying the cultural components to be aware of
- Defining the intangible elements of culture; defining values and beliefs which will impact on behaviour and business styles across cultures
Identifying cross-cultural differences and similarities
This section measures differences and similarities across cultures and looks at the impact on business practices around the world
- Identifying cultural differences; measuring cultural differences and similarities
- Drawing a comparative cultural profile between cultures across the world
- Best management practices; comparison of expectations: meetings, decision making process, problem solving, conflict handling, influencing, negotiating, delegating, motivating
Choosing the best strategies to bridge successfully cultural boundaries
This section encourages participants to practice alternative strategies which could be used to work successfully across cultural boundaries
- Bridging, reconciling and synergising cultural boundaries
- Constructing a “Personal Brand Image” adapted to the proper culture
- Improving communication and projecting the right image
Planning and developing new skills and competencies
In this section, participants will have a chance to put together a Personal Development Plan to help them over time to communicate successfully across cultures
- Developing the right set of competencies; analysis of participants profile
- Designing a highly effective personal development plan; identifying the set of competencies that participants needs to focus on and designing strategies to address competency gap
