Language Solutions International developed the EET in response to the directive laid down by the UK Border Agency for Tier 2 immigration.
This Home Office approved test will be offered by us regularly on a national and international basis. Click here for level required to pass the test.
The EET consists of five sections – Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking and Discourse Management. Please click here to view a Sample Test
It is taken under secure conditions and lasts for around 1.5 hours including a 10 minute speaking test.
Before registering for the test it is important to ensure that you are ready. Our tips on How to Prepare for the EET will help you.
In order to pass the EET, candidates must achieve at least 70% in all five sections of the test.. If you get less than 70% in any of the sections, you fail the whole test.There is no limit on the number of times you can retake the test.
Results and official certificates are sent to candidates within 10 working days.
Any replacement certificates will be charged at £25.00 per copy
The standard cost of the EET in the UK is £125 (incl. VAT) per test.
Fast track results are available within 4 working days of taking the test on payment of a £50 premium in addition to the standard test fee.
