Our client is a global defence, aerospace and security company with over 80.000 employees worldwide. The Company delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and support services.

We are now looking for a qualified and experienced Demand Management Professional to work on an initial 9 to 12-month contract, with possibility of extension/renewal.

This position would be suitable for a new starter in their first role on a Demand Management career ladder, or an apprentice having finished their time and taking their first role post-apprenticeship.

The successful candidate will execute the delivery of inventory/asset demands including generation, receipt, validation, prioritisation, solution, process and progression of demand through the system to achieve contractual requirements. This includes all tooling and equipment necessary. Coordinate the resolution of issues and priority parts including alternative parts/solutions via integrated functional solutions. Uses information and applies a level of operational analysis to aid demand management and achieve contractual requirements.

Key roles and Responsibilities 

  • Provide effective Demand Management activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting any impact on Continuing Airworthiness, operational/process performance. Understand how individual actions contribute to overall delivery performance.
  • Ensure all Demand Management activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems
  • Ensure Human Factors and Error Management philosophies are applied to all Demand Management activities
  • Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework. Support the implementation of any Regulatory-driven changes into the Demand Management activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR, EaPW, ISO, etc.
  • Comply with the CAME, its associated procedures and standards

 

The Candidate must have the following:

  • Hold a minimum of a recognised qualification to NVQ3/Level 3 Award in relevant discipline.
  • Recent experience within a Supply Chain Demand Management role that supports of Maintenance /after sales market environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.

 

It is desirable for the post holder to:

  • Understand the Regulatory Framework and its applicability to the Demand Management processes and activities.
  • Able to build good relationships with Customers and the other key stakeholder’s personnel.
  • Have operational knowledge and understanding of the platform contract(s), the fleet’s performance and the business key performance metrics
